Intro: Hi, I’m Tina!

Hi! I’m Tina. I’m 21 years old from Arizona, USA :)

I grew up moving around the world, falling in love with travelling and exploration at a very young age. I wanted to climb the tallest mountains, explore the mysterious oceans, and discover new places all the time! I grew up watching STEM shows like Dragonfly TV and Bill Nye the Science Guy, obsessed with environmental science, space exploration, marine biology, photography, and the myriad of other scientific and exploratory fields that help us learn more about the Earth and the universe.

Wanting to work in the space industry, I went for a bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering in college. However, a few years into my degree, I felt more out of place than ever! I couldn’t see a future for myself in it because it was so detached from my true passion which involved being outdoors and experiencing things with my own eyes, not from a desk behind a computer screen. So I transferred my credits to community college, got associate’s degrees in computer science and math, and closed the chapter on CSE to pursue something I knew was important to me and would help me figure out my next steps in life: travel!

Now, I stand at an exciting new frontier of my own life, and I get to build it all on my own terms. I started this blog and my social media page on Instagram to log my adventures and share them with my friends and family, and I am constantly amazed at how many people have joined along! I am really glad to have you on this journey with me - it serves as so much encouragement and proves to me just how impactful and universal of an experience travel is. I think there is an incredible amount of value in traveling, so I hope that I can keep inspiring even more people to do the same!
